Zell Am See is a charming medieval lakeside town, nestled between a large lake and a mountain, and whose slopes are part of the Europa-Sport Region, which offers a range of pistes to suit all abilities.
Beginners will benefit from the excellent ski schools, whilst intermediates and experts will enjoy the long cruisers on the Kitzeinhorn Glacier. Within the town you can ice-skate on the lake and enjoy some après ski in one of the may bars or restaurants. The resort consists of 3 mountains; Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe and the "family mountain" of Maiskogel.
