Wanted a quick break over a weekend. Avoriaz is excellent for this.. Car free resort with spectacular reviews down the valley. Nice mixed skiing and only 1 hour from Geneva, so brilliant for a short break. Highly recommended!!

As I am a beginner skier and lack the confidence. I found Avoriaz a very good resort for me. The runs are wide and there is a gentle blue run which takes you through a beautiful peaceful wooded area. It is a ski in - ski-out resort very compacked and ideal for those looking to relax and be located in a small village.
