In my opinion Copper is an excellent choice for a range of different people due to the fact that it's so easy to drive from Denver to Copper up the I-70 in around 2 hours. The fact that everything is within also makes it a family friendly resort and offers are always around to get a good deal on hotels/condos. We stayed in a 1 bed condo right in the village where you could access all you needed... bars, restaurants, ski school, lifts, shops, cafe's etc.... all within a couple of mins walk. The mountain provided varied terrain and also gets some excellent snow conditions being part of the front range from Denver. We took opportunity of the ski school whilst in resort and had a great day with the instructor and would definately recommend this to anyone wanting to improve their technique!
