Sestriere is part of the Milky Way circuit allowing skiiers access to over 400km of terrain to explore. Sestriere also hosted the winter olympics in 2006 and the World Cup in 1997.
Sestriere attracts visitors from all over Europe and has a lively apres ski atmosphere.
Accommodation ranges from the olympic village apartments through to 4 Star hotels and chalets.
The resort best appeals to Intermediate skiiers but also has a few beginner runs.
Sestriere is a high altitude resort and therefore snow conditions are often good. The range is between 2000m and 2800m.
