The great thing about Lake Tahoe is the variety of resorts on offer. There are plenty of different resorts that you can visit to ski for just a day or longer. We skiied Heavenly and Howewood however next time we are sure to visit Northstar, Squaw Valley, Sierra and Kirkwood to name but a few! You really can ski forever out here and enjoy it all in great warm conditions which adds to the fun! Plenty of things to see and do at night and some really nice hotels down by the South Lake... we recommend the Lakeland Village and the Lakeshore Lodge and Spa!
