more informationThe local skiing in Morzine is divided into three sectors; Pleney above the town to the west, Super Morzine to the east (and the main ski-link to Avoriaz) and Nyon-Chamossierre to the south.
Skiing takes place on the wooded slopes on both sides of the Les Gets valley, which is criss-crossed with further lifts that extend to 1850m Le Ranfoilly and 1665m La Rosta at the far end of the valley. On the north-western side of Les Gets, a gondola and a chair lead up to Mont Chéry. This is the location for dedicated slalom and snowcross courses, as well as a terrain park. Morzine also has a large floodlit area with skiing, tubing and big-air that remains open until 10pm
