This is a great resort - on and off piste. The hotel accommodation really impressed me with a good range of quality hotels, the best being the 5 Star Hermitage. Cutting edge design and home comforts - and a 3 floor spa to soothe your aching muscles! There's nothing better after a day on the slopes than to swim through the water curtain to an outdoor jacuzzi and bubble away whilst watching the die-hard skiers blast down the lower runs. The skiing was great with a good range of slopes catering for all levels. Advanced skiers will be able to ski the piste map in a day. As for nightlife and eating out, Soldeu has its fair share of bars (including an obligatory Irish one) and restaurants. You can party as hard as you like, venues generally stay open til the early hours! Considering the time of year the snow was fantastic - apparently Andorra is usually blessed with a late snow fall and this year was no different. UK skiers tend to turn their noses up at Andorra, however the 3 occasions I've skied here I've had great snow and thoroughly enjoyed the apres ski. Transfer wise, OK it's a bit of a trek to get to but it's well worth the effort. 5 out of 5!
