great centre for intermediate skiers
Stayed twice in feb & mar 08 . St Johann slopes are pretty good, a bit thin of snow low down. The resort is central for trips to Kitzbule, Wadring,Febererbrun & Ellmau [ski-welt]. all reached easily by bus or train. Each area total different & enjoyable.
Apre ski a bit low key., but great open air bar at bottom of slope. Great cafes for hot chocolate & cakes. Not a rowdy place at all, must places shut in the evening shortly after 9pm, just 1 or 2 late nighters.
Stayed in the Post & Golden Lowne. Both pretty good but the Post has the edge, waiter service rather than buffet meals.
I'd certainly return with all the skiing available.
