Beginner skiers will enjoy South Ridge with good, easy runs; intermediates can cruise around on rolling blues and experts can try the challenging narrow mogulled double-blacks that lead straight down into the base lodges!
Sunday River has a several lively bars and restaurants to chose from including several in the resort hotels. In the nearby small town of Bethel, which is approximately 10 minutes drive away you will find a few shops, restaurants and bars in a pretty New England setting, that also offer some lively après-ski.
