Situated in the heart of Vermont, Killington is the biggest ski area in New England. Having the East's greatest natural snowfall it is one of the first resorts to open each year and one of the last to close.
This is also a big party town with a variety of pulsating après ski action at the week ends. Intermediates will get the most from Killington with 40% of its trails designated for this level of skier but plenty of terrain for everybody across its 7 peaks and 200 trails.
If you take a day off skiing, there are traditional New England towns nearby and; the factory outlet shops in Manchester are also well worth a visit.
