Beginners are well served by either Maiskogel, or else the glacier itself, which boasts 21 green runs, whilst Intermediates enjoy 19 red runs on the glacier, and an extra 52km of reds and blues on Schmittenhöhe. Experts finally can either enjoy the 9 black runs (25km) on Schmittenhöhe, or try venturing out into the backcountry with one of the mountain and ski guides. Cross country skiers meanwhile can ski over 200km of backcountry, whilst those wishing to learn can take advantage of the cross country ski school.
